I. Hardware Minimum Requirement
- Processor: Dual Core 2.0 GHz or better
- Memory: 2GB or more
- Hard Drive: 2 GB or more free space
- Network: Internet connection is required to activate the product.
- Operating System: Windows7 or XP (Windows 7 preferred).
- For Windows XP: install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 if your PC doesn't have it installed already. (Go to http://www.microsoft.com/, search for . NET 3.5)
II. Software Installation Steps
Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet during the entire installation process.
1. Install required third-party software and plug-ins
Click on each link to download and install.
2. Internet Explorer Setup
The WebBrowser control in .Net framework uses the IE installed on the PC, but by default it always simulates IE7.
To fix this, you need to add a Windows registry value.
- Start Regedit.exe
- For 32-bit Windows, locate [(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION] or
- For 64-bit Windows, locate [(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION]
- Add a new "DWORD(32-bit) Value" and name it "Dynasignpreview.exe" to the above key. Change the "Value Data" to Decimal: 11001 or Hexadecimal: 2AF9.
- This value will force Webbrowser control to use the newer IE mode instead of simulating the old IE7. IE11 is required to run HTML5 content properly.
3. Install Publisher for Dynasign LE2
- Remove any previous Publisher software from Control Panel->Add/Remove Software
- Use the Publisher download link in the email you received during your download request to download Publisher installer for Dynasign LE2
- Install Publisher to the default Dynasign LE2 installation directory
